GasMiser October 22nd, 2009

Save as much as 60% on your MIG Welding Shielding Gas with this revolutionary new product!
Since the invention of MIG Welding in the 50’s Welding Regulator /Flowmeter Manufacturers have built into their regulators  something called “Automatic Flow Compensation” (A.F.C.), typically at 50 P.S.I. This is to compensate for spatter build up in the nozzle and twisted torch hoses. GasMiser greatly reduces wasted gas expelled at the beginning of every weld — in other words, it regulates A.F.C.! It’s like getting a free tank of gas for every two that you buy.

Added Bonus !! This is a GREEN Product. If you are using CO2 or any mixes we are putting less CO2 in the Air!!

Fiber Disc Comparison October 22nd, 2009

In this video we test 3 basic fiber/sanding discs — Aluminum Oxide (a/o), Zirconium (zirc) and Ceramic. In our test we grind both carbon and stainless steel with the 3 products for the same amount of time to see which disc type removed the most material by weight, as well as the life cycle of each disc. The point was to prove true cost effectiveness.

CK Gas Saver October 22nd, 2009

Save as much as 40% on your Argon gas with the new CK GasSaver.
These front end kits provide better gas shielding, than standard collet bodies on your TIG Torch, which saves on Tungsten life and your shielding Gas. The is literally as simple as your kitchen sink — If you remove the screen from your faucet there is no control of the flow — replace the screen and you have a nice, uniform, linear flow. Using the same principle, CK Gas Saver can reduce a 30CFH flow to 20 CFH (40%) and still provide proper gas coverage. If you do this with the standard collet bodies your gas coverage won’t be adequate. You still leave all your Pre and Post flow’s as is. If you’re an A.S.M.E . code shop , you will still have proper gas coverage to make your x-ray quality welds. What I like about this product is that you can buy kits and retrofit your 17, 18, 20 and 26 style torches. No need to buy the whole torch. With Argon at about $40-$50 a cylinder I think these kits which sell for approximately $12 are well worth the money.
