		<description><![CDATA[In this video I am comparing the different types of Oxy/Fuel welding hoses. Have you noticed one has a "T" on the package and the other a "R".  The reason for this is the different characteristics of Acetylene and LP gas (Propane and Mapp).  A rubber hose is used with acetylene because it won't leak through or permeate rubber. Lp gas, however, will permeate rubber. This is why we use the grade "T" hose.  This is a neoprene hose , which has an oil resistant lining on the inside so the gases will not leak through or permeate the hoses. Please match the proper hose with your fuel gas.

Using the same principle, CK Gas Saver can reduce a 30CFH flow to 20 CFH (40%) and still provide proper gas coverage. If you do this with the standard collet bodies your gas coverage won&#8217;t be adequate. You still leave all your Pre and Post flow’s as is. If you’re an A.S.M.E . code shop , you will still have proper gas coverage to make your x-ray quality welds. What I like about this product is that you can buy kits and retrofit your 17, 18, 20 and 26 style torches. No need to buy the whole torch. With Argon at about $40-$50 a cylinder I think these kits which sell for approximately $12 are well worth the money.</p>
